We are Harrison and Tommy of Carter & Dilger Photographic Artists!

     Based in historic Savannah, Georgia, we specialize in creating images of pure silver on metal or glass, using photographic methods that go back 175 years. Tommy has been a student of traditional photography for a decade. He's since graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design's School of Film and developed images in locations as unique as aboard the 1942 Warship USS Alabama. Harrison discovered wet plate collodion photography through his work and passion as a historical interpreter and fell in love with the process for its ability to capture a moment so completely. While Harrison was completing his history degree, the two brought their knowledge and passion for connecting to the past through this beautiful medium together. A few years of waiting later, and Carter & Dilger was born; a dream of celebrating the human element of photography, and sharing the way silver has been capturing the beauty of our world for nearly two centuries.
